Before entering the FBE market, MCIP Management wanted to be sure it differentiated itself from other companies in the market.
MCIP recognizes that there are several choices when it comes to coating applicators but consistently delivering a quality product and truly being there for the customer is where MCIP likes to separate itself from other coating applicators.
MCIP operates under the belief that consistent and quality service is key to building and maintaining relationships with its Customers.
Customer Service Targets:
- Coating Turn Around (Target – 1 week or less)
- Efficiency (Truck Loading) (Target – 2 hours or less)
Quality Management System
MCIP’s Quality Management System complies with the requirements of ISO 9001
MCIP has AMLs from almost all the major end users in the industry (18 current AMLs)

Quality Control & Assurance
- MCIP has a full time Quality Control / Quality Assurance staff onsite and witnessing each coating job.
- Additionally, MCIP has a state of the art laboratory complete with all of the required testing devices, gauges and equipment.
- MCIP has applied coatings in accordance with most major industry standards:
- NACE SPO394
- CSA Z245.20
- AWWA C213

- In addition, MCIP has been audited and qualified to coat with almost every major end user and strictly adheres to each end user or distributor specification.

Quality Testing Standards
- FBE powder is tested and verified against the powder manufacturer’s certifications prior to use. These tests include:
- Gel time
- Moisture Content
- Specific Gravity
- After application, Finished Product Testing includes:
- Cathodic Disbondment Testing
- Hot Water Soak Testing
- Flexibility Testing
- Cure / DSC Testing
- Impact Testing
